Department overview:

The Collateral and Inventory Management group is responsible for providing support to the business around collateral management and secured financing, rolling up to the CFO. This encompasses regulatory and industry change, collateral efficiency and concentration, liquidity management and funding, and equity and fixed income financing, all with an aim to provide a best in class client service.

 

Role description:

Secured Financing and Triparty is part of the Collateral and Inventory Management group. The team is responsible for providing support to multiple desks across equity and fixed income products, providing a high level of service to our internal and external stakeholders.

The group is responsible for the following functions: 
    Providing support to the Repo Rates/ Credit and Equity Financing desks 
    Optimisation of collateral across multiple regions, vendors and business lines
    Vendor relationship management including new product offerings, industry forum participation and client service reviews
    Responsible for delivery and receiving of all Initial Margin collateral under the Un-Cleared Margin Regulation
    High level of client service around incoming query management
    Regulatory and control items

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
    Strong understanding of securities lending, repo markets and post trade lifecycle
    Understanding of triparty vendor platforms and optimisation
    Global Markets business objectives
    Strong communication skills and ability to communicate at various levels within an organisation
    Good understanding of technology including digital tooling, Microsoft packages, and industry vendor platforms
