The UK Real Money salesperson role will assist the desk head in growing Nomura’s market share and promoting the firms’ product offering to the real money client-base. The role holder will help to develop this business and diversify the FX business clients away from predominantly Hedge Fund and Bank clients.
Role description:
- Assist the desk head in the growth of the Real Money business by developing new and existing clients and winning business
- Partner with the eCommerce sales team to promote the distribution of our electronic platform
- Negotiating ISDA’s with new UK Real Money clients, partnering with the Onboarding team.
- Complement our offering in the rates space by working closely with colleagues in that area
- Manage trade enquires and transaction booking for Real Money
- Generating new macro ideas, products and services and successful distribution of Nomura’s research offering.
- Support the development of junior salespeople on the desk in order to develop a pipeline of salespeople able to monetize clients and represent Nomura
- Provide the trading and strategy desks with feedback and client colour.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required
- Demonstrable Real Money experience across a range of market conditions and client profiles
- Ability to win new, and develop existing clients in the Real Money space
- Be able to evidence long-standing and profitable client-relationships
- Effective team player with strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively in a sales and trading environment
