Department overview:

SABRE function oversees operational transformation on strategically important, mission critical projects to support Nomura’s business strategy.

 

Role description:

We are looking for a project manager who will be aligned to strategic transformation programs within the department to managing complex front-to-back change initiatives and digital transformation projects. Role would involve providing oversight and progress to the department senior management team and stakeholders, regionally and globally

  • Project manage business and technology transformation programs
  • Manage cross-functional project teams and stakeholder relationships
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and risk management
  • Establish governance frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines
  • Drive benefits realization and continuous improvement
  • Data management, Settlement, Network Management and Regulatory reporting.

 

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

Business/Technical:

  • Experience in operations or handling change in investment banking operations
  • Exposure to regulatory / reconciliation / settlement / reference data applications
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Sound understanding of financial products including Derivatives, Corporate Bonds, Converts, Loans, Swaps, Equities and their Trade Life Cycle
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of financial market regulations and control frameworks
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into business solutions
  • Coding experience is desirable e.g. Python, Alteryx

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Technology, or related)
  • Professional certifications (Agile, PMP, PRINCE2), if any.
