Team Overview:

The Risk engine group is responsible for design, development and level 3 support for the Risk Engines and Analytics applications within the Risk & Capital Technology group. This group is primarily focussed on the calculation, aggregation and reporting of the risk analytics.
 

Role / Principal Accountabilities:

The Core Risk Engines team is responsible for the applications that manage the credit and market risk calculations for the bank. A developer is required to participate in a long term project to expand the scenario stress testing application. The successful candidate will work closely with the business stress testing group, analysts and other developers to add market risk scenario testing functionality to the main market risk system. The team is distributed globally with developers in London, NY, Mumbai and Eastern Europe. The team operates a hybrid working model with some time in the office and some working from home.

Minimum qualifications:

• Financial Services institution experience (Investment Banking, Fund Manager, etc.)
• Experience of full software lifecycle
• Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
• Able to work with business and technical staff to both define and resolve problems
• Able to manage priorities and work independently

Required technical skills:

• C# 6.0
• .NET framework 4.5.2
• Front end C# development
• Good exposure to UI Design and UX
• MVVM / MVP / MVC UI Pattern(s)
• SOLID Principles
• Automated testing and continous integration (e.g. Jenkins/Hudson)
• Experience working on CPU/Memory/Data intensive UI & backend applications.
• Unit testing and mocking tools

Desirable technical skills:

• WPF
• WCF
• REST API
• Prism UI framework
