Department Overview:

Working in the UK Branch (“UK Branch”) of Nomura Asset Management Europe division, the Marketing Team provides services in support of the firms sales and marketing activities across the EMEA, LatAm and Asia (ex-Japan) regions, helping the firm secure more clients into our wide range of products.  We sell Nomura Asset Management (“NAM”) products as well as those of associate companies such as Nomura Corporate Research & Asset Management (NCRAM), New Forests and American Century.

Role overview:

The role sits within the firm’s Distribution business and focuses on supporting and working alongside the Global Marketing Manager in London in delivering a range of Marketing services to the EMEA, Asia and Latin America regions as well as directly supporting the sales, client and investment teams in London.  The role also includes working closely with the wider EMEA Marketing team in Frankfurt.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
This role reports to the Global Marketing Manager and so will ensure that all actions fit in with the overall strategy and approach. Main priorities are supporting the Global Marketing Manager across all activities in additional to close collaboration with the Marketing Team in Frankfurt.

 

  • Supporting delivery of marketing materials and content to the sales and client service teams
  • Close collaboration with investment teams and product specialists to deliver content creation in support of marketing activities
  • Organisation and execution of events (online and in person)
  • Monthly updates to time sensitive marketing materials
  • Creating presentations for the Global Head of Distribution for adhoc meetings (i.e. board meetings and town halls)
  • Liaising with PR Agency and providing support for media planning
  • Managing posts for social media (LinkedIn)
  • Proactively suggest marketing ideas and events to help move the business forward in line with strategy

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Attention to detail – ensuring all materials are accurate, compliant and the procedures are followed
  • An understanding of public relations
  • Excellent communication, creative and writing skills 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship skills
  • Strong team orientation but also the ability to work independently when required
  • Works in a highly organised and agile way
  • Some knowledge of compliance and corporate communication
  • Strong IT skills with advanced knowledge of MS-Office and Adobe Creative Suite (beneficial but not essential)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce would be an advantage
  • Additional European languages of advantage
  • Ability to multi-task
