Department Overview
Nomura's Chief Transformation Office is a department focused on driving change and delivering projects across the Nomura Group, particularly within the wholesale banking functions. This office provides project management and business analysis support, working closely with other departments to ensure the successful execution of global and cross-functional initiatives. The CTO also establishes governance and oversight, maintaining impartiality while working with various stakeholders and technology partners.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will work as an assistant within International Change with responsibilities including:
Executive Support
- Provide comprehensive executive support to the Global Head of International Change
- Manage complex calendars and scheduling, with particular attention during international travel periods
- Coordinate logistics for International Leadership Team onsite visits, including meeting schedules, networking events, and team activities
Travel Coordination
- Arrange all aspects of business travel for senior executives including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation
- Create detailed travel itineraries ensuring seamless business trips for leadership team members
- Process expense reports and ensure compliance with firm expense policies, providing guidance to broader team members
Office Management
- Oversee office operations including workspace management, facility maintenance, visitor coordination, and ensuring seamless access to physical and technical resource. Support office visitors through registration, meeting scheduling, transportation arrangements, workstation setup, and building access
Team Support
- Manage diverse administrative functions including onboarding processes, distribution list maintenance, timesheet administration, and general operational support requests

- Awareness of confidentiality issues when working in a legal environment
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be willing to assist the team as required
- Must be able to use initiative, prioritise own work and meet deadlines
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
The successful candidate should have:
- Willingness to work in a trading floor/banking environment with regular interaction with internal clients
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent administration and prioritisation skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively and to work on own initiative
- Enthusiasm and ability to work as a team player with good interpersonal skills
- Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
