Nomura's Global Markets Division handles client transactions for financial institutions, corporates, governments and investment funds around the world. Role Description
- Lead and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for CB & SWF clients across Flow Rates products.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the CB & SWF landscape, while also focusing on deepening existing relationships and expanding wallet share.
- Collaborate with regional and global Flow Rates Sales leadership to align strategies and optimise client coverage.
- Partner with Trading, SRM, and Strategy teams to expand touchpoints and align strategies with key clients.
- Produce high-level value-add content including market insights and thematic analysis tailored to client needs.
- Mentor junior members of the Sales team and provide strategic guidance on client relationship development.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- Extensive knowledge of fixed income markets, flow rates products, and CB & SWF client investment strategies.
- Proven track record of leading Sales teams and driving revenue growth in institutional markets.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to engage C-suite executives and senior investment professionals.
- Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder client relationships and deal processes.
- Proven ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced trading environments while maintaining accuracy and client focus.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience translating market insights into actionable client solutions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated success in identifying new revenue opportunities and developing innovative client coverage strategies.
- Expertise in managing cross-functional relationships with Trading, Research, Risk, and Operations teams to deliver seamless client execution.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting institutional fixed income markets (MiFID II, best execution, etc.).
