Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.

  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5+ years of C# client side programming experience against the.Net 4.5 runtime or later
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Demonstrable WPF experience, including in-depth knowledge of the threading model, dependency property mechanism, layout techniques and control templating.
  • Familiarity with common user interface design patterns such as MVVM, MVP or MVC
  • Experience with dependency injection mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of composite application concepts & frameworks
  • Experience working with MS SQL, Good knowledge of DB normal forms
  • Building multi-threaded real time services (WCF/Web/Rest Services)
  • Experience working with DevExpress WPF suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience or working knowledge on automated UI testing frameworks.
