Role description:
Responsible for the direction of all activities of the firm’s information systems & technology functions in Korea and provide/coordinate wise scope of IT knowledge and experience not only to IT staff but also business lines.
Oversee all information systems development and technology functions
Oversee operations planning functions in order to improve efficiency and decrease operational risks in IT
Provide branch wise business supporting plan and IT risk management plan
IT department resource administration and balance management
Maintain IT policy and procedure in line with group and external supervision bodies
Ensure proper and cost effective business continuity and disaster recovery IT environment
Ensure IT policies, guidance are fully implemented in country
Build strong relationships within the company and with external partners to facilitate successful project delivery, problem-solving, and innovation. Act as a bridge between business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors.
Act as local CISO to support global/regional cyber security initiatives.
Joint force with AeJ IT to support global or regional IT initiatives.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
• Degree in Computer Science
• Equivalent technical skill/or certification for MS Windows / UNIX / Database system
• IT security or internal control certification(preferred)
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in IT preferably in financial institutions
• Business application programming or system architect background in Securities is required at least 2 – 3 years
• At least 5 years of IT Project Management Experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex IT issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong background in managing relationships between business users, vendors, and internal IT teams to deliver impactful results.
• Sound understanding of cyber security issues and best practice.
• Relevant experience in handling IT infrastructure.
