Role Description:

Nomura is seeking an experienced operations specialist to support and enhance its CyberArk Conjur Services and broader Privileged Access Management infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience architecting enterprise Conjur deployments with deep understanding of integration patterns with CI/CD pipelines. We are looking for a self-driven professional with strong operational discipline, excellent analytical capability, and hands-on expertise who can thrive in a 24/7 follow-the-sun support environment as part of our global team. This ITIL-focused operations role requires someone with high work ethics who can independently manage critical security infrastructure while supporting additional technology platforms including Entrust PKI, TLS Certificate Management with Venafi and DigiCert, and various Authorization Services.

The role sits within the global Identity and Access Management team and plays a key part in safeguarding the firm’s trading, operational, and client-facing platforms. This is a hybrid position based in Jacksonville, Florida, with two mandatory office days each week.

You will be working as part of a follow-the-sun operational model with colleagues in Japan, India, EMEA, and the US. You will be expected to provide BAU support once every four weeks as part of the rota (including weekends), and spend the remaining time delivering projects, enhancements, and handovers received from the Engineering team.

  • Provide technical operational leadership for CyberArk Conjur and CyberArk Privileged Access Management.
  • Provide technical operational leadership for CyberArk Conjur Policy authoring, secrets rotation, API integration, enterprise deployment.
  • Work with engineering to support the delivery of new services and platform improvements to existing platforms to enhance resilience, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • In an L2/L3 capacity, operate, maintain and resolve operational issues with PAM, Secrets Management, PKI and Authorization Services through a follow-the-sun model.
  • Support the team in keeping the CyberArk Conjur Platform resilient and conduct yearly DR test.
  • Maintain high-quality operational documentation, runbooks, and incident response procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior operations staff within the operations group.

 

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • 4+ years of experience with CyberArk Conjur secrets management. Extensive experience architecting enterprise Conjur deployments
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) suite
  • 7+ years total experience in cybersecurity or infrastructure operations
  • Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and Conjur integration
  • DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline security integration
  • Deep understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Strong operational background with rigorous change management, incident handling, and availability requirements.
  • Scripting or automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash or similar).
  • Infrastructure as code familiarity (Terraform, Ansible, etc)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capability across global teams.
  • Proven ability to operate in time-sensitive, business-critical environments supporting trading and operational systems.
  • Security certifications such as CyberArk Defender, CISSP, CCSP, or vendor-specific qualifications.
