The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $100,000 -$120,000 per year* (see below footnote for additional compensation and benefits information).

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analyst / Business Analyst 

  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for the End of Day Consistency initiative, translating functional needs into clear specifications and user stories for the delivery team.
  • Analyze data flows, reconcile discrepancies, and perform quality checks across source systems to support consistency and accuracy objectives, identifying gaps and recommending remediation steps.
  • Analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple internal and external systems to support business, risk, and operational reporting needs
  • Document data definitions, lineage, and methodologies to support governance, auditability, and knowledge transfer
  • Present analysis and insights to senior stakeholders in a clear, concise manner, adapting technical detail to the audience
  • Support UAT and post-implementation activities by designing test scenarios, tracking issues to resolution, and producing status reporting and documentation for stakeholders and project governance.

 


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or similar analytical role (adjust years based on seniority of the position)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets
  • Working knowledge of a scripting/analytics language such as Python or R
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts and GL reconciliations
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of data accuracy and integrity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior exposure to financial services, markets data, or regulatory reporting is a plus

* base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience.
