Role Description:
This position is based in Chicago, IL (In-office role). Candidate will be working on the SP/MBS Sales desk and would be responsible for a range of sales & support activities. The overall objective of this role is to assist the Chicago sales team in both agency mortgages and securitized products while growing the individual’s market and product knowledge.
Job Duties:
- Ideally 2-5 years of experience working in Sales & Trading (Analyst/Associate) or related financial services industries
- Working with other Chicago team members to help facilitate trade execution process, providing information to clients, and assist with other tasks in a timely matter
- Working with other team members to gain technical product knowledge in order to better understand Agency Mortgages & Securitized Products
- Working closely with Syndicate and Banking on New Issue transactions and relaying appropriate information to clients
- Distributing trade recaps and working with trade support to ensure trades are captured in a timely manner
- Assisting with booking repo trades for clients
- Monitoring credit limits for onboarded clients
- Working with the client valuations team to distribute month end valuations to account
- Helping in the client onboarding process
- Participating in client entertainment
