Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies with intermediaries, primarily retail banks, wealth management platforms, and IFAs in Hong Kong.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distribution partners, identifying opportunities to onboard products, increase penetration and AUM growth.
- Manage product onboarding process with distributors and conduct product presentations, roadshows, training sessions, due diligence meetings etc.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue/AUM goals by prioritizing high-potential clients and opportunities aligned with business development objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (investment, product, marketing, and compliance) to ensure seamless support for distribution partners and timely delivery of marketing materials, reporting, and market insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in fund sales and business development, preferably focused on retail/intermediary channels in Hong Kong.
- Proven track record in distribution of fund with experience driving AUM growth through retail/intermediary channels.
- Knowledge of Hong Kong's retail fund market, including SFC authorization processes and intermediary landscape.
- Holder of SFC licenses (Type 1 and Type 4).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Self-motivated, target-driven, with strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
