Role Overview:
- Reporting to the Head of Global Markets (GM) Solution Sales for International Wealth Management and the Regional GM Sales Head, this role requires close collaboration between Global Markets (GM) and International Wealth Management (IWM) to increase the cross-divisional sales for Nomura
- Cross business collaboration: Work closely with GM Sales/Product global partners & IWM teams to drive GM solutions for WM clients; support joint venture and cross collaboration initiatives to drive higher revenue across the client franchise
- Deal lifecycle management: Lead the end-to-end client deal lifecycle from origination to distribution/execution across assets classes, with core focus on equity and debt products
- External Client Meetings: Drive client meetings to increase GM product penetration within the wealth management / family office client segment
- Internal Business Updates: Work with the global teams to lead strategic reporting, business updates, integrated solution / deal specific pitch decks for senior management and global stakeholders.
- Process Optimization and Special Projects: Contribute to streamlining deal execution and structuring process, pipeline management and initiatives to enhance one bank solutions teaming with other divisions.
- Conduct preliminary due diligence on originated transactions, analyze financials, assess risks and coordinate with internal teams to facilitate deal structuring and execution
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements such as MNPI, conflict management, cross border guidelines etc. to support risk assessments related to one bank solutions.
Skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required:
- 5-10 years of experience in financing transactions with Investment Banking, Global Markets, and/or Wealth Management firms
- Strong understanding of the wealth management client segment with Global Markets credit structuring/distribution background
- Strong financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment skills. Fair understanding of credit and market risk in financing transactions
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Python/VBA, PowerPoint presentations and data analysis with experience in using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, Qlikview etc.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and project coordination abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate and team with global stakeholders and manage multiple / competing priorities and time zones
