Role Description:

  • Supporting the regional Sales in the Asia-ex Japan region to distribution Nomura’s Asia Pacific equity product
  • Daily execution on client’s enquiries and maintaining existing client relationships of the firm
  • Introducing product capabilities of the firms to Financial Institution clients
  • Market trade ideas and solutions to clients
  • Developing client distribution strategy & resourcing plan for Equity Distribution in Asia ex-Japan
  • Work closely with trading, prime services and structuring team

 

Skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proven experience in communicating with international teams
  • Fluency in English as well as Mandarin
  • Bachelor's degree in any disciplines; CFA candidacy or MBA degree is a plus
  • Self-starter, proactive and have a positive attitude
  • Able to work independently and coordinate with key stakeholders within the firm
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment, and under pressure
  • Able to work long hours during crunch time / pre-events
