Department Overview:
This position will be part of the SABRE team under Wholesale AEJ Operations. Strategic, Analytics, and Business Re-engineering (SABRE) aims to deliver end-to-end solutions that create tangible value for the business. The team will rapidly prototype and provide reliable, data-driven insights, optimize processes, and transform operations for the organization. Through the synthesis of high-quality quantitative and qualitative insights, we enable informed decision-making across all operational levels and partner divisions.
Role description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our SABRE team under Wholesale AEJ Operations.
What You'll Do:
• Gathering, processing, and interpreting large datasets including financial data to identify trends, patterns, and provide meaningful insights
• Working to identify key business problems and developing data-driven recommendations
• Assessing current business processes and suggesting strategic improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Support and assist to manage Project & Change initiatives across Operations and to provide regular update to key stakeholders.
• Use tools like PowerBI, Alteryx, and Python to drive advanced analytics and automation
Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills:
• Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, Project management or related fields
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar strategic role with a focus on process re-engineering, regulatory projects within the financial services industry
• Good understanding of investment banking operations, workflows, and systems
• Excellent communication skills, presentation and interpersonal abilities
• Able to demonstrate analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills & adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines
• Experience working with and building relationships with internal stakeholders including IT, Risk and Control
• Proficiency in PowerBI, Alteryx & scripting languages (Python, VBA) and other analytical tools
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills:
• Prior experience in Project Management, Business management will be an added advantage
