Role Overview
Responsible for developing and maintaining private banking client relationships
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and deepen trusting long term relationships with new and existing U/HNW individuals
- Identify prospects within the relevant market and use market knowledge to actively acquire new clients
- Introduce clients to a wide range of products/investment opportunities based on their suitability and responsible for the success of delivery Nomura’s solutions to clients
- Ensure complete KYC, call reports and documentation for all clients
- Assist in new business/product development and work with products and service specialists in order to best serve client needs
- Contribute to the bottom-line of Wealth Management through the accomplishment of revenue and AUM target
- Comply with bank and regulatory requirements and all applicable money laundering prevention procedures both in Hong Kong/Singapore and in the specific geographical area
Requirements
- Degree in Business or Finance or related disciplines
- Proven track record of minimum 8 - 10 years of banking experience in wealth management or private banking
- Strong ability to acquire new clients through referrals, own network and the active prospecting of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals.
- Good working knowledge of financial markets, asset classes, products and services
- Excellent client relationship management skills, communication and influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- High level of professional and personal integrity, ensuring all work activities meet the high compliance standards of the Bank and are performed in line with internal and external guidelines and regulatory policies
- Drive to succeed and ability to work independently and as a team
