Role Description

 

The Investment Advisor will work within IPAS (Investment Product, Advisory and Solution) and work closely with RMs to provide advisory service with multi-asset class investment solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Advise on portfolio construction including overall asset allocation, tactical shifts and security selections
  • Market and implement investment solutions in accordance with clients’ asset allocation. Such solutions will be delivered either on a discretionary or advisory basis and will include mutual funds, structured products, hedge funds, private equity, as well as execution of more traditional brokerage transactions such as equities, bonds, foreign exchange, etc.
  • Drive the implementation of new cross asset products from conception to launch by collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with product partners to drive product campaigns and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with regional coverage and product heads to enhance the overall product and platform capabilities for coverage team and clients
  • Deliver performance reviews to clients across traditional and non-traditional assets
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Business or Finance from an accredited university
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience advising on portfolio construction including overall asset allocation, tactical shifts and security selections.
  • Experience in investment products with the ability to extend beyond a single product to a multi-product focus
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, asset classes, products and services
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, communication and influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • High level of professional and personal integrity, ensuring all work activities meet the high compliance standards of the Bank and are performed in line with internal and external guidelines and regulatory policies
