Main responsibilities

  • Service the clients in Asia ex-Japan region, primarily in Hong Kong and China.
  • Provide sales support function for sales based in Hong Kong and also rest of the Asia Ex Japan Distribution Team.
  • Supporting the Head of Client Services for Asia Ex Japan in management of the overall Distribution Team in the Region by helping with governance procedures and subsequent monitoring.
  • Supporting Head of Client Services for Asia Ex Japan in all ad-hoc projects related to the overall Asia Ex Japan Business of Nomura Asset Management.
  • Covering end to end delivery across NAM clients in the AEJ region and support the local sales in all business development activities. This includes both Institutional and Wholesale client segment in AEJ region.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time from senior management of NAM.

 

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of Client Servicing or Sales support experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong experience in key markets (Institutional & Wholesale) and key countries mainly Hong Kong, and regional experience across Singapore, China, Thailand, Malaysia & Korea would be a plus.
  • Experience working within a complex, matrixed corporate environment effectively, and ability to navigate complex processes.
  • Display passion and energy to support the business growth.
  • Have sensitivity, discretion and sound judgement with the ability to interact at all levels.
  • Team player with strong attention to detail
  • Tertiary education (University Degree) required.
  • Languages: Proficient in English (Written and Spoken) & Cantonese and Mandarin (Written & Spoken).
