Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support the Cash Equities Sales team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of the desk, assisting senior salespeople with client coverage, and sales administration. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced trading floor environment, is analytically strong, and possesses excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to equity sales professionals and institutional clients.
  • Maintain and update client coverage lists, CRM systems, and daily activity logs.
  • Assist in the preparation of market summaries, client presentations, and sales pitches.
  • Track and distribute market-moving news, research, and corporate action updates.
  • Handle KYC/AML onboarding coordination and compliance documentation where needed.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients in the absence of senior salespeople.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services, ideally in equities sales/trading or operations.
  • Strong understanding of cash equities markets and institutional client dynamics.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred or willingness to obtain
