Overview

Instinet’s technology is as diverse as it is innovative, incorporating industry-leading technologies to service the ever-evolving and dynamic global financial markets industry. The ETS team is a client facing Front Office role advising and guiding clients on their Algorithmic trading needs using a market leading algorithmic platform. We monitor clients’ electronic flow across APAC (including ID markets). The team is a revenue generating side of the business involving aspects of both sales and trading, seeking new client opportunities and partnering with existing clients to sharpen performance against their benchmarks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electronic Sales Trading client coverage spanning the APAC markets, keeping clients up to date on Algorithm, Routing and FIX developments and enhancements
  • Interact with Algorithm development, Quant Strategy and Execution Consulting members to analyse, discuss and refine Algos parameters and optimization of electronic execution for clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with a broad range of clients across the Asia Pac market place
  • Work alongside the business, management, and other sales and trading teams in order to maximize revenue generation and penetration in client wallets across execution channels
  • Monitor and analyze client trading activities and volumes, working to achieve the specific objectives pertaining to client coverage and market share ambitions

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Financial Services Industry with a focus on Electronic Trading Products, Program Trading or Sales Trading or equity trading
  • Experience in Quantitative and Algorithmic Trading
  • Experience with FIX Protocols and OMS system
  • Strong communication skillset working with international teams
  • Keen attention to detail including regulatory environment
  • Self-initiative mindset to grow themselves and their career
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, analytical and time management skills
  • Strong team player with willingness to teach and learn from others
